On the 1.5.2021. the Ognjenka female Short-Toed Eagle, who is in the program of our satellite telemetry has started the spring migration. She left Chad, flew to Sudan and Egypt. In 5 days, she flew to the Nile River and we assume that will continue to move along the river to the north.
Since this is a young bird that is still sexually immature and does not have a strong urge to return to the area where she hatched, we do not know what decisions she will make next. We continue to follow her on her uncertain path.
